Inexperienced technician broke my computer

Qresolve manager is just as bad as the people that work there They feel no responsibility ,when they damage your computer and are unable to fix the damage they did. They also feel they are not responsible to pay for the damage they have caused, and it is the customers responsibility to pay for the repair bill. Stay away from this company,They will try to suck you into a long term contract, they are polite and are after your money If they corrupt your software and render your computer useless it is now your responsibility to fix and pay from your own pocket as they will not pay. They would rather lose you as a customer, than take responsibility over their mistakes

I have had Q-resolve for almost 3 years now and my current subscription expires on 9/29/2017. In February of 2017 while getting a problem worked on the tech asked me if I would renew my subscription for another 3 years at $100.00 less than my original subscription. They said it would be like a new renewal and would start on 9/30/2017. I don't know why they discounted the price and wanted me to take the deal 9 months before my existing subscription expired but I told them that I would take their deal. Everything went along smoothly until I was informed last week by my family that I was being put into a nursing home and I would not have a computer. Mistakenly thinking that Q-resolve was a reputable company asked them for a refund of the $407.96 that I paid in February of 2017. The supervisor of the tech support said he couldn't make refunds and I would have to call a third party Safe Cart who would handle the refund. I called the number I was given and was informed by Safe cart that they could only make refunds on orders that were no more than 90 days old and that Q-resolve would handle the refund. I kept going back and forth between Q-resolve and Safe Cart and finally a supervisor at Q-resolve said there was nothing they could do and I could not get a refund. This was when I realized that Q-resolve was a scammer and would never recommend to anyone to do business with them. They don't know how to act as reputable businessmen. Stay away from them.

I believe this company to be a scam. A pop up screen locked my computer and said that it had been compromised.

If I wanted to fix it I needed to call Microsoft technical support at the provided phone number. Only when I called the number I wasn't talking to Microsoft I was talking to Qresolve. They ran a scan and told me that my computer was critically infected and that my case needed to be given to somebody higher in command (scare tactics). It was going to cost money for them to repair my computer.

I was panicking at the time and agreed to pay the $169.00 that they wanted. All he did was remote into my computer and download a free spyware product from the internet which I totally could have done myself. I think they actually are the ones who froze my computer in the first place and the next day when I ran a malware scan of my own I had over 800 hits which I think they installed when they had access to my computer.

It was a total ripoff. Don't fall for it like I did!

Wiped out all information & had to "recreate" a whole new setup

After I signed up for my first year, it took MANY MANY hours and SEVERAL days later trying to fix ONE program. They concluded they had to delete EVERYTHING and then RECREATE a +52whole new system/profile. They were able to copy only SOME of my previous settings and I retained limited information. My information would have been COMPLETELY erased, had I not backed up my computer onto an external drive. Although an additional cost, it saved me from losing everything. In the end, the program SILL DID NOT WORK! I just called today for a "checkup" and was informed my contract expired 10 days ago. Here's their original offer: Renew for 1 year at $249.99, or 2 years for $100 more (Total $349.99). OR..... as their "SPECIAL OFFER" renew for $199.99 for one year, or 2 years for $199.99 MORE (TOTAL $399.99). What...????!!!! that's more than the first. I told him I will be shopping around, so then I was offered their "best price of $287 for 2 years. That's great, but I told them I don't get paid until the 30th, can they please do a "bridge" in the interim. Absolutely NO. I could, however, pay $79.99 for SEVEN DAYS, and then renew per above prices total cost $367.99. Again, WHAT...???!!! *** deal for me, I'd say, and *** attitude towards current customers who are on the fence about renewing with them. They just made it easy to decide - NO!

QRESOLVE IS AWFUL

I had 2 issues. 1, I wanted to restore my computer to a previous date to retrieve some data. Tech said that this could not be done. 2. Icons on my desk top moved around on their own. I asked him to fix that. He took control of my computer and said ok it's fixed. It was not fixed and I called and spokd to a supervisor. I got a bunch of mumbo jumbo. I asked him to give me a refund for the remaining period on my contrasct. He said No way. LET THE BUYER BEWARE GO SOMEPLACE ELSE

First, somehow this company downloaded its software to my computer, which I never asked for and did not want. It destroyed all my files. I now have a black screen. They were able to help me uninstall the software--CleanerPro--but my computer is still non-functioning. So, instead of helping me, they wanted to charge me to repair my computer. What a scam! They break it and then charge me to fix it. Since I was desperate, I agreed to pay if they would send me an email saying that if they were unable to do the repair, I would get a full refund. Reasonable--consumers have a right to a written refund policy before paying. They refused. My computer is still broke.

A tech damaged my computer and the company did not want to pay.

One of there technicians damaged my computer and when I talked to many supervisors and still nothing was done. Some of the supervisors kept stating that he did not do it intentionally, but the real problem was he still damaged it. I eventually had to go take it to a company here in Memphis to get my computer serviced/fixed because (Qresolve Support) could not fix what they damaged. Now they inform me that they do not give refunds inspite of them damaging my computer. (Where do they do that at?) So beware of (Qresolve Support) (888-203-****) because they will damage your computer and will not give you back a refund....SAD SERVICE.......

Tech who said his name was Nathan 274-769-**** calls back to check in & locked me out my computer. Q-resolve denies was them! Had manufacturer perform factory reset, no other choice! I ask why would someone lock you out your computer? They said people do this so they can charge U later to fix it. Q-Resolve will ride you on renewing contract, even w/2 months to go, I only had 2 weeks to go. When I contacted Q-Resolve to report, the supervisor just said he didn't recall this employee. And, would not say yes, or no when asked after I told him I was recording this conversation. Then reminded me that my contract was almost up & if I wanted to renew it. Oh, he did ask if I wanted them to fix the problem, but also ask to renew my contract first. What nerve!!!! I will never let Q-Resolve touch my computer again!!! They are rude & have no ethics, or morals. Barely speak English + noisy background. No customer skills. They leave programs on desktop. One time I found they were still logged onto my computer days later!

Computer slow..will not pull up pages

Since 10-17-14 a tech has worked on my computer 4 times without resolving my issues..The issues are worse now and I paid a lot of money for the Q Resolve program..Understanding the techs is a problem as well..the noise in the background when they talk to you is a problem and their English is broken..I can be contacted at 704-298-**** or by E-mail at bmartin68@***.rr.com. My computer was slow..wouldn't pull up my pages..and is even slower since they worked on it..On Facebook it will not load my games that I play against other players..

Qresolve - Technical Support Review

I am so disgusted after 10 hours on the phone today with 3 techs, Sr Techs & Supervisors And having one of the Techs put my computer In "safe mode" this company deleted everything on my computer, even Windows is gone !!!!! Then I was told I would have to go out and purchase Windows to have it reinstalled with a disk when it came pre installed on my computer so of course I don't have the disk. Half of time was spent asking them to repeat the information they were asking me to do, as everyone was of foreign decent and difficult to understand. Very unhappy with this Qresolve Company.

Very scary, I too was sold 2-yr protection pkg for $289, have used them 3x, now I'm leery to let them try again.You're so right about spending most of the time trying to figure out what they're saying.

Now I'm getting solicitation calls from someone representing Revenue Wire Software & they have my ph#, my email, & my customer ID for Qresolve. Rev.

Wire (along w/ others) has been cited in a class action lawsuit in Florida. But so far, I've found nothing but this page to discredit Qresolve.

Purchased $430 contract on March 10. Tech spent 15 hrs, while I waited on this end, but he couldn't fix problem. Called again and waited 10 minutes for someone to answer and then hung up. Today called to find out what happened to optimiser program. After two hours found out they had wiped program. They tried to re install and in process put my computer in safe mode. It won't stay on when I'm lucky enough to get it turned on. They hung up on me when I called back. I now have no computer and a very expensive 3 year contract.
